Petr Machata 506a1ac9d3 selftests: forwarding: lib: Parameterize IGMPv3/MLDv2 generation
In order to generate IGMPv3 and MLDv2 packets on the fly, the
functions that generate these packets need to be able to generate
packets for different groups and different sources. Generating MLDv2
packets further needs the source address of the packet for purposes of
checksum calculation. Add the necessary parameters, and generate the
payload accordingly by dispatching to helpers added in the previous
patches.

Adjust the sole client, bridge_mdb.sh, as well.

Petr Machata 952e0ee38c selftests: forwarding: lib: Add helpers for checksum handling
In order to generate IGMPv3 and MLDv2 packets on the fly, we will need
helpers to calculate the packet checksum.

The approach presented in this patch revolves around payload templates
for mausezahn. These are mausezahn-like payload strings (01:23:45:...)
with possibly one 2-byte sequence replaced with the word PAYLOAD. The
main function is payload_template_calc_checksum(), which calculates
RFC 1071 checksum of the message. There are further helpers to then
convert the checksum to the payload format, and to expand it.

For IPv6, MLDv2 message checksum is computed using a pseudoheader that
differs from the header used in the payload itself. The fact that the
two messages are different means that the checksum needs to be
returned as a separate quantity, instead of being expanded in-place in
the payload itself. Furthermore, the pseudoheader includes a length of
the message. Much like the checksum, this needs to be expanded in
mausezahn format. And likewise for number of addresses for (S,G)
entries. Thus we have several places where a computed quantity needs
to be presented in the payload format. Add a helper u16_to_bytes(),
which will be used in all these cases.

Vladimir Oltean b8e629b05f selftests: forwarding: fix flood_unicast_test when h2 supports IFF_UNICAST_FLT
As mentioned in the blamed commit, flood_unicast_test() works by
checking the match count on a tc filter placed on the receiving
interface.

But the second host interface (host2_if) has no interest in receiving a
packet with MAC DA de:ad:be:ef:13:37, so its RX filter drops it even
before the ingress tc filter gets to be executed. So we will incorrectly
get the message "Packet was not flooded when should", when in fact, the
packet was flooded as expected but dropped due to an unrelated reason,
at some other layer on the receiving side.

Force h2 to accept this packet by temporarily placing it in promiscuous
mode. Alternatively we could either deliver to its MAC address or use
tcpdump_start, but this has the fewest complications.

This fixes the "flooding" test from bridge_vlan_aware.sh and
bridge_vlan_unaware.sh, which calls flood_test from the lib.

Vladimir Oltean b343734ee2 selftests: forwarding: add option to run tests with stable MAC addresses
By default, DSA switch ports inherit their MAC address from the DSA
master.

This works well for practical situations, but some selftests like
bridge_vlan_unaware.sh loop back 2 standalone DSA ports with 2 bridged
DSA ports, and require the bridge to forward packets between the
standalone ports.

Due to the bridge seeing that the MAC DA it needs to forward is present
as a local FDB entry (it coincides with the MAC address of the bridge
ports), the test packets are not forwarded, but terminated locally on
br0. In turn, this makes the ping and ping6 tests fail.

Address this by introducing an option to have stable MAC addresses.
When mac_addr_prepare is called, the current addresses of the netifs are
saved and replaced with 00:01:02:03:04:${netif number}. Then when
mac_addr_restore is called at the end of the test, the original MAC
addresses are restored. This ensures that the MAC addresses are unique,
which makes the test pass even for DSA ports.

The usage model is for the behavior to be opt-in via STABLE_MAC_ADDRS,
which DSA should set to true, all others behave as before. By hooking
the calls to mac_addr_prepare and mac_addr_restore within the forwarding
lib itself, we do not need to patch each individual selftest, the only
requirement is that pre_cleanup is called.

Petr Machata b8bfafe434 selftests: mlxsw: Add helpers for skipping selftests
A number of mlxsw-specific selftests currently detect whether they are run
on a compatible machine, and bail out silently when not. These tests are
however done in a somewhat impenetrable manner by directly comparing PCI
IDs against a blacklist or a whitelist, and bailing out silently if the
machine is not compatible.

Instead, add a helper, mlxsw_only_on_spectrum(), which allows specifying
the supported machines in a human-readable manner. If the current machine
is incompatible, the helper emits a SKIP message and returns an error code,
based on which the caller can gracefully bail out in a suitable way. This
allows a more readable conditions such as:

	mlxsw_only_on_spectrum 2+ || return

Convert all existing open-coded guards to the new helper. Also add two new
guards to do_mark_test() and do_drop_test(), which are supported only on
Spectrum-2+, but the corresponding check was not there.

Provide an example script which can be used as a skeleton for offloading
TCAM rules in the Ocelot switches.

Not all actions are demoed, mostly because of difficulty to automate
this from a single board.

For example, policing. We can set up an iperf3 UDP server and client and
measure throughput at destination. But at least with DSA setups, network
namespacing the individual ports is not possible because all switch
ports are handled by the same DSA master. And we cannot assume that the
target platform (an embedded board) has 2 other non-switch generator
ports, we need to work with the generator ports as switch ports (this is
the reason why mausezahn is used, and not IP traffic like ping). When
somebody has an idea how to test policing, that can be added to this
test.

One option is to do "ip netns exec ns bash -c command", provided that
all functions that one wishes to use (and their dependencies) are

require all the interfaces.

Thus it's suboptimal for tc_offload_check() to query all the interfaces.
In case of setup_wait() it's incorrect, because the sub-test in question
of course doesn't configure any interfaces beyond what it needs, and
setup_wait() then ends up waiting indefinitely for the extraneous

For that reason, give setup_wait() and tc_offload_check() an optional

Petr Machata ac0fcadf03 selftests: forwarding: lib: Avoid trapping soft devices
There are several cases where traffic that would normally be forwarded
in silicon needs to be observed in slow path. That's achieved by
trapping such traffic, and the functions trap_install() and
trap_uninstall() realize that. However, such treatment is obviously
wrong if the device in question is actually a soft device not backed by
an ASIC.

Therefore try to trap if possible, but fall back to inserting a continue
if not.

Petr Machata 3368b22379 selftests: forwarding: lib: Extract interface-init functions
The function simple_if_init() does two things: it creates a VRF, then
moves an interface into this VRF and configures addresses. The latter
comes in handy when adding more interfaces into a VRF later on. The
situation is similar for simple_if_fini().

Therefore split the interface remastering and address de/initialization
logic to a new pair of helpers __simple_if_init() / __simple_if_fini(),
and defer to these helpers from simple_if_init() and simple_if_fini().
