Ivan Vecera df19ea6966 i40e: Refactor and rename i40e_read_pba_string()
Function i40e_read_pba_string() is currently unused but will be used
by subsequent patch to provide board ID via devlink device info.

The function reads PBA block from NVM so it cannot be called during
adapter reset and as we would like to provide PBA ID via devlink
info it is better to read the PBA ID during i40e_probe() and cache
it in i40e_hw structure to avoid a waiting for potential adapter
reset in devlink info callback.

So...
- Remove pba_num and pba_num_size arguments from the function,
  allocate resource managed buffer to store PBA ID string and
  save resulting pointer to i40e_hw->pba_id field
- Make the function void as the PBA ID can be missing and in this
  case (or in case of NVM reading failure) the i40e_hw->pba_id
  will be NULL
- Rename the function to i40e_get_pba_string() to align with other
  functions like i40e_get_oem_version() i40e_get_port_mac_addr()...
- Call this function on init during i40e_probe()

Ivan Vecera 7aabde3976 i40e: Split and refactor i40e_nvm_version_str()
The function formats NVM version string according adapter's
EETrackID value. If this value OEM specific (0xffffffff) then
the reported version is with format:
"<gen>.<snap>.<release>"
and in other case
"<nvm_maj>.<nvm_min> <eetrackid> <cvid_maj>.<cvid_bld>.<cvid_min>"

These versions are reported in the subsequent patch in this series
that implements devlink .info_get but separately.

So split the function into separate ones, refactor it to use them
and remove ugly static string buffer.
Additionally convert NVM/OEM version mask macros to use GENMASK and
use FIELD_GET/FIELD_PREP for them in i40e_nvm_version_str() and
i40e_get_oem_version(). This makes code more readable and allows
us to remove related shift macros.

Ivan Vecera 56df345917 i40e: Remove circular header dependencies and fix headers
Similarly as for ice driver [1] there are also circular header
dependencies in i40e driver:
i40e.h -> i40e_virtchnl_pf.h -> i40e.h

Another issue is that i40e header files does not contain their own
dependencies on other header files (both private and standard) so their
inclusion in .c file require to add these deps in certain order to
that .c file to make it compilable.

Fix both issues by removal the mentioned circular dependency, by filling
i40e headers with their dependencies so they can be placed anywhere in
a source code. Additionally remove bunch of includes from i40e.h super
header file that are not necessary and include i40e.h only in .c files
that really require it.

Ivan Vecera 39ec612acf i40e: Remove back pointer from i40e_hw structure
The .back field placed in i40e_hw is used to get pointer to i40e_pf

Tirthendu Sarkar 1c9ba9c146 i40e: xsk: add RX multi-buffer support
This patch is inspired from the multi-buffer support in non-zc path for
i40e as well as from the patch to support zc on ice. Each subsequent
frag is added to skb_shared_info of the first frag for possible xdp_prog
use as well to xsk buffer list for accessing the buffers in af_xdp.

For XDP_PASS, new pages are allocated for frags and contents are copied
from memory backed by xsk_buff_pool.

Replace next_to_clean with next_to_process as done in non-zc path and
advance it for every buffer and change the semantics of next_to_clean to
point to the first buffer of a packet. Driver will use next_to_process
in the same way next_to_clean was used previously.

For the non multi-buffer case, next_to_process and next_to_clean will
always be the same since each packet consists of a single buffer.

Tirthendu Sarkar e213ced19b i40e: add support for XDP multi-buffer Rx
This patch adds multi-buffer support for the i40e_driver.

i40e_clean_rx_irq() is modified to collate all the buffers of a packet
before calling the XDP program. xdp_buff is built for the first frag of
the packet and subsequent frags are added to it. 'next_to_process' is
incremented for all non-EOP frags while 'next_to_clean' stays at the
first descriptor of the packet. XDP program is called only on receiving
EOP frag.

New functions are added for adding frags to xdp_buff and for post
processing of the buffers once the xdp prog has run. For XDP_PASS this
results in a skb with multiple fragments.

i40e_build_skb() builds the skb around xdp buffer that already contains
frags data. So i40e_add_rx_frag() helper function is now removed. Since
fields before 'dataref' in skb_shared_info are cleared during
napi_skb_build(), xdp_update_skb_shared_info() is called to set those.

For i40e_construct_skb(), all the frags data needs to be copied from
xdp_buffer's shared_skb_info to newly constructed skb's shared_skb_info.

This also means 'skb' does not need to be preserved across i40e_napi_poll()
calls and hence is removed from i40e_ring structure.

Previously i40e_alloc_rx_buffers() was called for every 32 cleaned
buffers. For multi-buffers this may not be optimal as there may be more
cleaned buffers in each i40e_clean_rx_irq() call. So this is now called
when at least half of the ring size has been cleaned.

Tirthendu Sarkar 01aa49e31e i40e: add xdp_buff to i40e_ring struct
Store xdp_buff on Rx ring struct in preparation for XDP multi-buffer
support. This will allow us to combine fragmented frames across
separate NAPI cycles in the same way as currently skb fragments are
handled. This means that skb pointer on Rx ring will become redundant
and will be removed in a later patch. As a consequence i40e_trace() now
uses xdp instead of skb pointer.

Truesize only needs to be calculated for page sizes bigger than 4k as it
is always half-page for 4k pages. With xdp_buff on ring, frame size can
now be set during xdp_init_buff() and need not be repopulated in each
NAPI call for 4k pages. As a consequence i40e_rx_frame_truesize() is now
used only for bigger pages.

Tirthendu Sarkar f7f732a719 i40e: change Rx buffer size for legacy-rx to support XDP multi-buffer
Adding support for XDP multi-buffer entails adding information of all
the fragments of the packet in the xdp_buff. This approach implies that
underlying buffer has to provide tailroom for skb_shared_info.

In the legacy-rx mode, driver can only configure up to 2k sized Rx buffers
and with the current configuration of 2k sized Rx buffers there is no way
to do tailroom reservation for skb_shared_info. Hence size of Rx buffers
is now lowered to 2048 - sizeof(skb_shared_info). Also, driver can only
chain up to 5 Rx buffers and this means max MTU supported for legacy-rx
is now 8614 (5 * rx_buffer_len  - ETH header with VLAN).

Marek Majtyka 66c0e13ad2 drivers: net: turn on XDP features
A summary of the flags being set for various drivers is given below.
Note that XDP_F_REDIRECT_TARGET and XDP_F_FRAG_TARGET are features
that can be turned off and on at runtime. This means that these flags
may be set and unset under RTNL lock protection by the driver. Hence,
READ_ONCE must be used by code loading the flag value.

Also, these flags are not used for synchronization against the availability
of XDP resources on a device. It is merely a hint, and hence the read
may race with the actual teardown of XDP resources on the device. This
may change in the future, e.g. operations taking a reference on the XDP
resources of the driver, and in turn inhibiting turning off this flag.
However, for now, it can only be used as a hint to check whether device
supports becoming a redirection target.

This was caused because of new buffers with different RX ring count should
substitute older ones, but those buffers were freed in
i40e_configure_rx_ring and reallocated again with i40e_alloc_rx_bi,
thus kfree on rx_bi caused leak of already mapped DMA.

Fix this by reallocating ZC with rx_bi_zc struct when BPF program loads. Additionally
reallocate back to rx_bi when BPF program unloads.

If BPF program is loaded/unloaded and XSK pools are created, reallocate
RX queues accordingly in XSP_SETUP_XSK_POOL handler.

Michal Jaron 198eb7e1b8 i40e: Fix set max_tx_rate when it is lower than 1 Mbps
While converting max_tx_rate from bytes to Mbps, this value was set to 0,
if the original value was lower than 125000 bytes (1 Mbps). This would
cause no transmission rate limiting to occur. This happened due to lack of
check of max_tx_rate against the 1 Mbps value for max_tx_rate and the
following division by 125000. Fix this issue by adding a helper
i40e_bw_bytes_to_mbits() which sets max_tx_rate to minimum usable value of
50 Mbps, if its value is less than 1 Mbps, otherwise do the required

Alan Brady 57c942bc3b i40e: Fix to stop tx_timeout recovery if GLOBR fails
When a tx_timeout fires, the PF attempts to recover by incrementally
resetting. First we try a PFR, then CORER and finally a GLOBR. If the
GLOBR fails, then we keep hitting the tx_timeout and incrementing the
recovery level and issuing dmesgs, which is both annoying to the user
and accomplishes nothing.

If the GLOBR fails, then we're pretty much totally hosed, and there's
not much else we can do to recover, so this makes it such that we just
kill the VSI and stop hitting the tx_timeout in such a case.

Mateusz Palczewski c87c938f62 i40e: Add VF VLAN pruning
VFs by default are able to see all tagged traffic regardless of trust
and VLAN filters configured.

Add new private flag vf-vlan-pruning that allows changing of default
VF behavior for tagged traffic. When the flag is turned on
untrusted VF will only be able to receive untagged traffic
or traffic with VLAN tags it has created interfaces for

The flag is off by default and can only be changed if
there are no VFs spawned on the PF. This flag will only be effective
when no PVID is set on VF and VF is not trusted.
Add new function that computes the correct VLAN ID for VF VLAN filters
based on trust, PVID, vf-vlan-prune-disable flag and current VLAN ID.

Testing Hints:

Test 1: vf-vlan-pruning == off
==============================
1. Set the private flag
> ethtool --set-priv-flag eth0 vf-vlan-pruning off (default setting)
2. Use scapy to send any VLAN tagged traffic and make sure the VF
receives all VLAN tagged traffic that matches its destination MAC
filters (unicast, multicast, and broadcast).

Test 2: vf-vlan-pruning == on
==============================
1. Set the private flag
> ethtool --set-priv-flag eth0 vf-vlan-pruning on
2. Use scapy to send any VLAN tagged traffic and make sure the VF does
not receive any VLAN tagged traffic that matches its destination MAC
filters (unicast, multicast, and broadcast).
3. Add a VLAN filter on the VF netdev
> ip link add link eth0v0 name vlan10 type vlan id 10
4. Bring the VLAN netdev up
> ip link set vlan10 up
4. Use scapy to send traffic with VLAN 10, VLAN 11 (anything not VLAN
10), and untagged traffic. Make sure the VF only receives VLAN 10
and untagged traffic when the link partner is sending.

Test 3: vf-vlan-pruning == off && VF is in a port VLAN
==============================
1. Set the private flag
> ethtool --set-priv-flag eth0 vf-vlan-pruning off (default setting)
2. Create a VF
> echo 1 > sriov_numvfs
3. Put the VF in a port VLAN
> ip link set eth0 vf 0 vlan 10
4. Use scapy to send traffic with VLAN 10 and VLAN 11 (anything not VLAN
10) and make sure the VF only receives untagged traffic when the link
partner is sending VLAN 10 tagged traffic as the VLAN tag is expected
to be stripped by HW for port VLANs and not visible to the VF.

Test 4: Change vf-vlan-pruning while VFs are created

Xiaomeng Tong 3f95a7472d i40e: i40e_main: fix a missing check on list iterator
The bug is here:
	ret = i40e_add_macvlan_filter(hw, ch->seid, vdev->dev_addr, &aq_err);

The list iterator 'ch' will point to a bogus position containing
HEAD if the list is empty or no element is found. This case must
be checked before any use of the iterator, otherwise it will
lead to a invalid memory access.

To fix this bug, use a new variable 'iter' as the list iterator,
while use the origin variable 'ch' as a dedicated pointer to
point to the found element.

Karen Sornek 6533e558c6 i40e: Fix reset path while removing the driver
Fix the crash in kernel while dereferencing the NULL pointer,
when the driver is unloaded and simultaneously the VSI rings
are being stopped.

The hardware requires 50msec in order to finish RX queues
disable. For this purpose the driver spins in mdelay function
for the operation to be completed.

For example changing number of queues which requires reset would
fail in the following call stack:

1) i40e_prep_for_reset
2) i40e_pf_quiesce_all_vsi
3) i40e_quiesce_vsi
4) i40e_vsi_close
5) i40e_down
6) i40e_vsi_stop_rings
7) i40e_vsi_control_rx -> disable requires the delay of 50msecs
8) continue back in i40e_down function where
   i40e_clean_tx_ring(vsi->tx_rings[i]) is going to crash

When the driver was spinning vsi_release called
i40e_vsi_free_arrays where the vsi->tx_rings resources
were freed and the pointer was set to NULL.

There was an AQ error I40E_AQ_RC_EINVAL when trying
to reset bw limit as part of bw allocation setup.
This was caused by trying to reset bw limit with

DCB is enabled. The code was relying on the pf->flags
to check if DCB is enabled but if only 1 TC is available
this flag will not be set even though DCB is enabled.

device detected a newer version of the NVM image v1.x than expected v1.y.
Please install the most recent version of the network driver.' This is
misleading as the driver is working as expected.

Fix that by removing the second part of message and changing it from
dev_info to dev_dbg.

Di Zhu 3116f59c12 i40e: fix use-after-free in i40e_sync_filters_subtask()
Using ifconfig command to delete the ipv6 address will cause
the i40e network card driver to delete its internal mac_filter and
i40e_service_task kernel thread will concurrently access the mac_filter.
These two processes are not protected by lock
so causing the following use-after-free problems.

Nitesh Narayan Lal d34c54d173 i40e: Use irq_update_affinity_hint()
The driver uses irq_set_affinity_hint() for two purposes:

 - To set the affinity_hint which is consumed by the userspace for
   distributing the interrupts

 - To apply an affinity that it provides for the i40e interrupts

The latter is done to ensure that all the interrupts are evenly spread
across all available CPUs. However, since commit a0c9259dc4 ("irq/matrix:
Spread interrupts on allocation") the spreading of interrupts is
dynamically performed at the time of allocation. Hence, there is no need
for the drivers to enforce their own affinity for the spreading of
interrupts.

Also, irq_set_affinity_hint() applying the provided cpumask as an affinity
for the interrupt is an undocumented side effect. To remove this side
effect irq_set_affinity_hint() has been marked as deprecated and new
interfaces have been introduced. Hence, replace the irq_set_affinity_hint()
with the new interface irq_update_affinity_hint() that only sets the
pointer for the affinity_hint.

Reject TCs creation with proper message if the first queue

Eryk Rybak 9e0a603cb7 i40e: Fix ping is lost after configuring ADq on VF
Properly reconfigure VF VSIs after VF request ADQ.
Created new function to update queue mapping and queue pairs per TC
with AQ update VSI. This sets proper RSS size on NIC.
VFs num_queue_pairs should not be changed during setup of queue maps.
Previously, VF main VSI in ADQ had configured too many queues and had
wrong RSS size, which lead to packets not being consumed and drops in
connectivity.
